hurts. we hurts.

Apparently it was not in the cards this morning to not be in pain. I think i jammed my wrist sometime last night while i was sleeping, so i am now in a brace. On the plus side, my left hand is my dominant for driving. On the negative, my hurt hand, my right is my dominant for everything else. I guess I will be just on the cash register today at work instead of lifting things. Also it is hard to type.

Shakespeare

Good morning everybody! I am sitting in the new building at school (AKA Columbia-Pacific Hall) watching the construction workers tear down the old buildings. As I look out the window, I also see the room where my Shakespeare Literature class should be and realize: "I forgot my book and notes sitting on my bed at home. Gorram it, what am I gonna do now?" I do what every college student would do, facing the shame of forgetfulness and not actually going to class. Besides, I didnt get all of my homework done for that class and I need to get a bunch of other things done today, like studying for my Math test tonight or watching another episode of The Dresden Files. So, here I go, pretending to actually be doing something, when everyone knows that I'm not. Maybe I will write some more on "The Scholar" or possibly find someone to Facebook chat with or go make another layout on Polyvore in an attempt to actually get something done today. I have a feeling that that is never going to happen.

Homework

WOW! I never realized how much homework really sucked. (Mom, if you are reading this, I owe you a dollar). I am taking 20 credits this term and I have a huge load. Really. And on top of this, they are, like, really weird. In my Shakespeare class, we have to look into the songs of "As You Like It" and tear them apart to find the inner meaning as well as re-write Jaques' "The World's a Stage" speech in the eyes of another character of the play. Odd. Then there is Library Research Skills, advertized as a way to do your homework without interruptions and instead we are making online resumes and eportfolios. The only classes that are actually sane are Spanish and Math, possibly Biology, in which the labs are so totally cool! Banana DNA. Now that I have that out of my system, I am going to do my homework and study for my math test tomorrow night. Then I am going to bed. Night all!

Me

This is me in Acapulco at the Senor Frog club having dinner with my grandma Lois and Tio Min.
